Typical
intended parents most often are couples who have
tried for many years to have a child and for
some reason are unable
to safely carry a
child to term. Couples who only have trouble
with conception usually turn to IVF, but for
those women who specifically have difficulty
with pregnancy and delivery, surrogacy is a good
choice. Sometimes intended parents have had the
experience of losing a fetus during pregnancy or
have had multiple miscarriages. In some
instances, the mother’s health may be in danger
if
she becomes pregnant.
Whatever the reason, surrogacy is not usually a
couple’s first choice in growing their family,
but it is a welcome option to avoid danger to
the baby and the intended mother. In some
situations, gay or lesbian couples wish to have
a child and turn to surrogacy as a way to become
parents. Other times single men want to become
fathers. Straight, gay, lesbian or single, we
welcome you to join Treasure Valley Center for
Surrogacy to find the right surrogate for you.
For most intended parents, having a baby via
surrogacy involves many sacrifices such as
giving up the dream of carrying your own child.
You relinquish control of the pregnancy and
entrust another person to care for your baby to
the best of their ability. Furthermore,
surrogacy is an expensive process. Unlike what
the media often portrays, most intended parents
make huge financial sacrifices to pay for the
surrogacy process. This adds a lot of emotional
stress and pressure for success. The journey to
becoming intended parents is not quick and easy
for anyone, but the rewards of a healthy baby
and mother are priceless.
